Job Description
The British College of Brazil (BCB) is seeking a Secondary Spanish Teacher to join its international academic community and deliver high-quality language education.

Plan and deliver effective Spanish lessons for Secondary students

Ensure engaging, well-structured teaching that promotes student progress

Assess, track, and report on student learning, providing constructive feedback

Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of native and non-native speakers, including EAL approaches

Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment aligned with school policies

Contribute to the wider life of the school through events, activities, and projects

Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues
Required Skills/Abilities
Requirements:
-
Teaching degree with QTS
- Knowledge and experience of teaching Spanish for 3 years
- Knowledge of EAL teaching strategies

Strong classroom management, organisation, and teamwork skills
Desirable:
-
Experience and knowledge with IBDP
- Native Spanish speaker
- Previous international teaching experience

A proven track record of teaching Spanish with at least two years teaching experience
