This is a high-impact, senior role for an experienced HR professional ready to take the next step in a purpose-driven organisation.

 

As Senior HR Manager: UK Cluster, you will:

  • Act as the lead HR partner to school Principals and leadership teams across three UK campuses (currently in Oxford and Brighton), embedding strategic HR thinking into school plans, staffing models, and long-term workforce strategies.

  • Champion HR excellence across the full employee lifecycle: from talent acquisition and succession planning to employee relations, wellbeing, organisational development, and compliance.

  • Line manage and develop a team of UK-based HR professionals, supporting their growth and enabling consistent, high-quality service delivery across schools.

  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation, safeguarding protocols, and Nord Anglia’s global standards including safer recruitment and policy frameworks.

  • Represent the UK cluster in regional and global HR networks, contributing to cross-country initiatives, policy development, and knowledge-sharing.

  • Use people data and insights to support informed decision-making, improve employee experience, and drive continuous improvement.

 

While the core focus of the role is the UK, your remit may flex to include oversight or collaboration across other countries within the regional cluster, as required.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a confident, people-first leader who brings:

  • Significant experience as a senior HR generalist or HR business partner in a complex, multi-site organisation

  • A deep working knowledge of UK employment law, casework, and compliance frameworks (essential)

  • Experience leading HR teams and developing people capability

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence senior stakeholders with credibility and clarity

  • Comfort with ambiguity, pace, and evolving organisational needs

  • A passion for inclusive, values-driven leadership – and for helping others grow

Experience in the international education sector is a plus but not essential. What matters most is your ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and your motivation to make a real difference in a global, people-led organisation.
