In our Early Years we use a Reggio Emilia inspired approach. In Primary we are guided by the National Curriculum for England and the International Primary Curriculum. In Secondary we have IGCSE/GCSE, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and International BTEC qualifications. We also offer courses that focus on English, mathematics, life skills and employability through ASDAN programmes.
All students are involved in a wide range of co-curricular activities, mainly run by teaching staff. Resulting in a rich and varied co-curricular offer for our students, with our school active and competitive in the local international school sports league across a number of sports. The school has an extensive programme of residential trips starting in Year 3 up to the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Secondary.
We are also members of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Job Description
Working closely alongside the Director of Sport and PE department colleagues, the PE/Sports Assistant can be expected to be involved in the following:
General
- Equipment storage, maintenance and management for lessons and users.
- Assisting with training sessions or lessons if required, covering absent staff.
Administration
- Representative at ACSIS Meetings, work with DoS on ACSIS fixtures arrangements and administration.
- Administrative oversight of SOCS alongside DoS, including results collection and update.
- Communication with parents on team selections, trials and fixtures.
- Assisting in the organisation and setting up of tournaments and competitions.
- Liaison with coaches and other schools on fixtures and competitions.
- Managing day to day administration. Sports department.
- Event organisation and set up (Sports Awards etc.)
Coaching and Fixtures
- Covering groups for PE or training, if required.
- Coaching teams, if appropriate and within the scope of the job.
- Assisting with fixtures (with relevant experience/qualifications).
- Meeting and greeting opposition teams and showing them to sports venues
- Travelling to away games with teams if appropriate.
- Hosting teams at DCIS.
Vendor Management
- Coordination of Vendor engagement with Procurement and Sports Departments.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Sports or related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Passion for sports with good knowledge of sporting equipment use and maintenance.
- Good communication skills and knowledge of sporting competitions.
