Deputy Housemistress/Deputy Housemaster 2025
Villars-sur-Ollon, CH
From September 2025
OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Beau Soleil, we believe it’s what you do that counts. This philosophy holds true in all that we do as staff and for our students. We are a community that believes in the power of action, engagement and participation, inside and outside of the classroom.
Our unique holistic education is built around four core values: Respect, Responsibility, Ambition and Determination, which provide a framework to community life for our international student body. Our students come from over fifty different countries, with diverse academic backgrounds and a wide range of future aspirations.
With curricular programmes in both English and French, students graduate with an IB or Advanced Studies Diploma. Within this framework, small class sizes allow for a flexible programme and staff are encouraged and supported to bring new ideas to all that they do.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our location in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon, offers an enviable lifestyle with access to skiing in the winter months and a multitude of outdoor and sporting activities throughout the year. Montreux, Lausanne and Geneva are all within easy reach for cultural adventures and inspiration.
The Beau Soleil campus is an inspiring place to work with facilities that are second to none. Our ongoing campus development and maintenence programme ensures that our students and staff thrive in an environment of which they can be rightly proud.
YOUR PROFILE
At Collège Beau Soleil, boarding is more than a place to stay—it’s an experience that builds independence, character, and lifelong friendships. Set in the stunning Alps of Villars-sur-Ollon, our boarding houses are true homes where students are supported, challenged, and encouraged to thrive.
We are seeking both a Deputy Housemaster for our boys’ boarding house and a Deputy Housemistress for our girls’ boarding house, each playing a key role in fostering a safe, structured, and vibrant environment. Working alongside the Housemaster or Housemistress, you’ll help create a family atmosphere where students feel secure, supported, and empowered. In their absence, you will take full responsibility for leading the house, ensuring students’ well-being, discipline, and personal growth.
Beyond the boarding house, you’ll collaborate with teachers, tutors, and academic leaders, ensuring a seamless connection between pastoral care and academic success. You’ll also teach a reduced number of lessons, strengthening student relationships inside and outside the classroom.
If you’re a passionate, dedicated, and inspiring educator, this is your chance to make a lasting impact. Join us and help shape an exceptional boarding experience—whether in our boys’ or girls’ house, your leadership will make a difference.
