About the Psychology Department and Role

We are currently in search of an experienced teacher of Psychology to join a thriving Psychology department and our pastoral team as a Form Tutor. Experience of and willingness to teach another subject is essential.

Psychology is a popular choice at both IGCSE (using the AQA 8182 curriculum) and at IBDP. 30% of our most recent IBDP HL Psychology graduates, and 25% of those studying SL, scored either a 7 or a 6.

The Psychology department is committed to continuous improvement. This year, the department is working on liaising with other departments to offer academic tips to help students understand the practical applications of what they learn at school. In addition, preparations are being made for the introduction of the new IBDP Psychology curriculum next year.
