MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As part of the Marketing and Communication team, the Digital Content Creator plays a key role in bringing the school’s story to life across digital channels. Through creative, relevant, and engaging content, the role helps strengthen the school’s visibility, attractiveness, and brand positioning among prospective students, families, alumni, and the wider school community.

 

This role is responsible for creating high-quality visual, video, and editorial content that feels authentic, audience-focused, and adapted to each platform. The Digital Content Creator turns school life, student experiences, events, achievements, and institutional messages into compelling digital stories.

 

The role also contributes to the development of the school’s digital presence by proposing fresh content ideas, insightful angles, storytelling formats, and creative concepts aligned with marketing, recruitment, and institutional objectives.

 

The position is to be filled as soon as possible.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital content creation:

  • Develop and evolve content strategy, objectives, and content pillars for key social media platforms.
  • Identify relevant stories, moments, and perspectives from school life.
  • Create, edit, and publish content for social media, website, newsletters, and digital advertising.
  • Produce visual and multimedia assets, including images, short-form videos, reels, GIFs, animations, and infographics.
  • Develop video ideas and storylines, working with school staff, students, and other contributors.
  • Film, edit, and finalize video content using Premiere Pro or equivalent software.
  • Adapt content formats, tone, and messaging to each platform and audience.

Brand and visual identity

  • Ensure consistency of the school’s digital visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
  • Apply brand guidelines while suggesting creative improvements to increase impact and engagement.
  • Design presentations and digital documents aligned with brand standards.
  • Support the Head of Brand with selected design projects from brief to final delivery.

 

 Digital campaign and event support

  • Create digital assets for campaigns, events, promotions, and internal communications.
  • Produce campaign content such as email banners, landing page visuals, and social media formats.
  • Capture and transform event moments into engaging digital stories.
  • Maintain digital content libraries, including images, videos, templates, and archives.
  • Manage media consent information in collaboration with the Marketing and Communication team.

Content strategy and innovation

  • Contribute to the strategic development of digital content.
  • Propose fresh storytelling approaches, creative formats, and relevant digital trends.
  • Develop content angles based on audience needs, interests, and motivations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, admissions, academic teams, students, and internal stakeholders to ensure content is relevant, authentic, and impactful.

 

Project management

  • Manage digital content projects from briefing to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners when needed.
  • Prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and incorporate feedback effectively.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and French (written and spoken).

Technical skills 

  • Strong command of digital creation tools:
    • Design and layout: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
    • Video and motion: Premiere Pro or equivalent
    • Presentation design: PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of content formats for social media, websites, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
  • Experience with social media management tools, CMS, and email marketing tools.
  • Good understanding of visual composition, storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific content trends.
