You thrive on helping young people develop confidence, teamwork, and resilience through physical activity. With experience in coaching and working with children or young people, you bring a proactive and supportive approach to everything you do. You're highly organised, dependable, and confident leading groups and managing sports teams. Whether setting up a lesson, leading a warm-up, or cheering on students at competitions, you take pride in fostering a positive, inclusive sporting culture. You’re also adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to grow as part of a dynamic PE department in a forward-thinking international school.
About the Role
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant in PE, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our high-quality Physical Education curriculum across all key stages (FS to KS4) and in coaching a wide range of competitive and co-curricular sports. This role is ideal for someone with a strong coaching background, great organisational skills, and a love for working with young people.
Key Responsibilities

Support PE lessons and provide targeted assistance to individuals and small groups

Coach school sports teams and deliver engaging before- and after-school sessions

Accompany students to sports competitions and events

Assist with equipment management and the organisation of internal and external fixtures

Promote sportsmanship, wellbeing, and inclusion throughout all activities

Contribute to department planning, administration, and performance tracking

Selection Process
Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be you current Head Teacher/Principal.
The start date is mid-August 2025.
