ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Business Studies Teacher who shares our commitment to providing a nurturing, inspiring, and inclusive learning experience for every student. Business Studies is a popular and well-established subject at St Andrews, with small class sizes and motivated, enthusiastic learners.

At St Andrews International School Bangkok, knowing each child is at the heart of effective education. Our classrooms are supportive and engaging, enabling students to grow in confidence and achieve their potential. Teachers bring this vision to life through creativity, collaboration, and high expectations.

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will support students’ academic and personal development by adapting teaching to individual needs, using a range of engaging strategies, and providing clear, meaningful feedback to students and parents. Collaborative planning is central to our approach, and you will work closely with colleagues to deliver a coherent curriculum across year groups.

At Key Stage 4, students study IGCSE Business (CIE) and Level 2 International BTEC Business. At Key Stage 5, Business Management is a popular option within the IB Diploma Programme. We also offer the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP), with Level 3 International BTEC pathways including Business. Teachers work collaboratively to develop the curriculum from Year 10 to Year 13.

We are looking for a proactive, forward-thinking teacher who can inspire a passion for the subject. You will be encouraged to build links with the local business community, support enrichment activities, and contribute to students’ understanding of real-world business.

Applications are welcome from Early Career Teachers, for whom we offer DfE ECF-based training, as well as experienced teachers. Experience teaching IB, A Level, or BTEC Business would be an advantage.
