What You’ll Do:
As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in our STARS Program, you’ll provide one-to-one support for a student with special educational needs in our Primary School. You’ll work as a key member of the Learning Support team, collaborating closely with classroom teachers, specialist staff, therapists, and parents to ensure every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
Your role is vital in helping students access the mainstream curriculum, develop independence, and build confidence in both academic and social settings.
Your responsibilities include:

Building a caring, nurturing relationship with your assigned student.

Working closely with teachers to implement a consistent and supportive learning plan.

Supporting your student during lessons, breaks, and social times to encourage participation and engagement.

Applying professional development strategies directly in the classroom.

Promoting student independence and helping to build self-esteem.

You’ll support the student and teaching team by:

Being punctual, present, and fully engaged throughout the school day.

Following strategies outlined in the student’s Individual Learning Plan.

Adapting and preparing learning materials to suit the student’s needs.

Providing clear instructions, and visual/verbal cues to support learning.

Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a growth mindset.

Communicating regularly with parents and collaborating with therapists and teachers.

Assisting during school trips, community activities, and school events.

Required:

Fluency in Thai, English and familiarity with Thai culture are essential.
