ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a STEAM and Technology Teacher who shares our commitment to providing a nurturing, inspiring, and inclusive learning experience for every student.

STEAM and Technology are popular subjects at St Andrews, supported by small class sizes and motivated students who enjoy a practical, hands-on approach to learning. Our classrooms are warm and engaging environments where students feel confident to explore, learn, and grow.

In this role, you will support students’ academic and personal development by adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs and abilities. You will contribute to curriculum development, provide meaningful feedback to parents, and collaborate closely with colleagues and Heads of Subject to plan cohesive learning experiences.

All students study Technology in Key Stage 3 through an integrated STEAM and Technology course delivered using a Project-Based Learning approach, combining Design Technology and ICT skills. At Key Stage 4, students may choose subjects including Design Technology, Art and Design, Graphics, and Photography. Experience teaching one or more of these areas is desirable but not essential.

We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers.
