Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a School Nurse to join our dedicated and dynamic School Nursing team. Required Skills/Abilities

Minimum Qualifications (Essential upon arrival):

  • Recent clinical experience in a school or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, able to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong administrative skills and computer literacy.
  • Flexible, responsive, and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Competency in assessing, evaluating, and managing health conditions and emergencies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Approachable and a team player.
  • Inclusive, with the ability to build effective partnerships across departments.
  • Resilient and proactive in the face of challenges.

Job Responsibilities

As a School Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality service that promotes and improves school health while addressing health inequalities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical care and supporting the well-being of students.
  • Collaborating with a diverse team to contribute to the ongoing development of the school nursing service.
  • Promoting a culture of learning, reflective practice, and professional growth within the team.
  • Assisting in the evaluation and improvement of health services in the school environment.
  • Ensuring the health and safety of students by managing emergencies and offering appropriate care.
