Job Description
Oakridge International School, Bangalore
We are looking for The EYP Teacher Assistant who supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young learners. The role involves assisting with classroom activities, student supervision, learning resources, routines, and daily classroom management while supporting the IB Early Years Programme (EYP) approach.
Key Responsibilities
Support the teacher in planning and conducting age-appropriate learning activities.
Assist students with classroom routines, learning, and personal care.
Encourage students' social, emotional, and communication development.
Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning resources.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
Observe and support individual student needs.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students' overall well-being.
Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and IB values.
