Job Description

• Delivering efficient, professional, and friendly service to School Offices by handling inquiries via telephone, email, and in-person interactions with parents, pupils, and customers.
• Providing excellent customer service and initial information about the school, warmly welcoming potential parents in the absence of the Admissions' Team.
• Managing office support tasks related to pupils' registration using our internal management system (iSAMS) and ensuring its up-to-date maintenance.
• Handling all correspondence, including issuing school certificates or confirmations, organizing and retrieving school documents, records, and reports, and providing relevant documents such as absent sheets, fire drill sheets, weekly End of Day registers, etc.
• Efficiently screening phone calls, emails, and inquiries, responding appropriately, and warmly receiving visitors to the school.
• Assisting the Finance department by preparing documents, scanning incoming mail, and registering relevant information.
• Ensuring thorough verification of students' applications and documentation during enrollment.
• Following up with parents to ensure all required documentation is complete and up to date.
• Ensuring timely communication of relevant school information to students, parents, and school staff.
• Arranging school trips.
• Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in updating school databases.
• Providing first aid assistance to injured students when the nurse is unavailable.
• Performing any other duties as required to support the smooth functioning of the school.

Required Skills/Abilities

Language skills:

Slovak - Advanced (C1) and English - Advanced (C1)

 

Other knowledge:

Microsoft Office - Skillful

 

Personality requirements and skills:

• Experience in an administrative role at least 2 years’ is an advantage
• Good user level of MS Office, experience with other software is an advantage
• Previous experience within an English language environment would be an advantage
• Customer support oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Multitasking
• High comfort level working in a diverse environment
• Confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to relate positively with other people
