Nord Anglia International School Dublin is seeking an outstanding Secondary Spanish Teacher, ideally with the capacity to teach an additional language and an interest in taking on future Head of Language Acquisition responsibilities. The Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Spanish teacher to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the MYP and DP programmes. This is a teaching role with the potential for progression to Head of Language Acquisition, depending on experience and interest.
Key responsibilities include:

Teaching Spanish across the MYP and DP, tailoring instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of our international student body.

Contributing to the development of the Language Acquisition curriculum, assessment strategies, and interdisciplinary links.

Playing an active role in school life, including leading or participating in cultural and language enrichment events.
If appointed to the Head of Department role, additional responsibilities would include:

Leading the Language Acquisition faculty, promoting consistency and high standards in teaching and learning.

Mentoring and supporting language teachers, and fostering a collaborative, reflective department culture.

Representing the department in school-wide initiatives and engaging the wider school community in language learning.
About You
We are looking for a teacher who is:

A qualified educator with experience teaching Spanish at MYP and/or DP level; ability to teach an additional language is highly desirable.

Familiar with the IB framework and passionate about promoting multilingualism and intercultural understanding.

Organised, proactive, and able to connect well with students, colleagues, and parents.

(For HoD consideration) An inspiring team leader with a track record of collaborative departmental leadership.
