We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology and Science Teacher to join our vibrant BVIS HCMC team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Biology and Science lessons tailored to diverse student needs.
- Plan creative, interactive, stimulating lessons that inspire curiosity and challenge students.
- Maintain high expectations for all students and foster strong teacher-student relationships.
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
- Assess student progress and provide clear feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of learning and share best practices.
- Participate in professional learning sessions and contribute to departmental development.
- Communicate effectively with parents on academic and pastoral matters.
- Involve in the organization and delivery of extra-curricular activities, school events and competitions.
- Contribute to school blogs and maintain high-quality displays in classrooms and public areas.
- Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards in all learning environments.
What we're looking for
- A relevant degree in Science plus teaching qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of recent classroom teaching experience.
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom practice and ability to differentiate for diverse learners.
- High level of IT competence and willingness to integrate technology into lessons.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Positive outlook, adaptability, and proactive approach to school improvement.
