We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Phase Leader to join our vibrant BVIS HCMC team.
Key Responsibilities
As EYFS Phase Leader, you will:

Lead and inspire the EYFS department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning

Deliver creative, stimulating lessons that support early development and inspire curiosity.

Maintain high expectations and foster strong relationships with students and staff.

Oversee assessment, tracking, and reporting for EYFS progress.

Line manage and mentor EYFS teachers, developing leadership within the team.

Collaborate on curriculum planning and contribute to strategic development as part of the Primary Senior Leadership Team.

Communicate effectively with parents and lead EYFS events and celebrations.

Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards across all EYFS environments.
What we're looking for
- A relevant degree plus teaching qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of recent classroom teaching experience.
- Proven leadership experience and middle leadership training.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development.
- Outstanding classroom practice and ability to differentiate for diverse learners.
- Knowledge of EAL teaching and experience with international curricula.
- High level of IT competence and ability to integrate technology into learning.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Positive outlook, adaptability, and proactive approach to school improvement.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
