The school is currently looking to recruit a:

Examinations Officer and Supply Supervisor

This role combines a strategic oversight of exam logistics with the responsibility of deploying cover staff for both planned and unplanned staff absences. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and other key staff members to maintain an efficient and positive learning environment, ensuring continuity in teaching and learning. With a focus on fostering a professional, organized, and supportive atmosphere for both students and staff, this position is integral to the school’s mission of academic excellence and student success.

General responsibilities: 

• Promote the mission and philosophy of the school, ensuring that external and internal examinations are run efficiently and in accordance with regulations so as to enable all students to succeed;
• Overall leadership and coordination of international mock and international examinations
• Professional Examinations Officer, instilling confidence in students, parents, teachers, and encouraging a positive examination culture in the school to which all staff and students subscribe.
• Manage the staff cover system to ensure continuity in teaching and learning;
• Organise the deployment of teachers and supply staff to cover planned and unplanned absences;
• Supervise and support students engaged in learning activities during the short-term absence of the class teacher;
• Be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development and growth;
• Communicate effectively with the school’s stakeholders, being an ambassador for the school at all times.
• The Examinations Officer is responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of IGCSE examinations in accordance with the regulations laid down by Cambridge International Examinations.

Our 2024 cohort of 102 IBDP graduates achieved an average score of 36.1 points, significantly higher than the global average of 30.3 points, with 28% of our students achieving 40 points or more and 1 student achieving a perfect score of 45.
