We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated General Accountant & AP Team Lead to join our vibrant BVIS HCMC team.
Key Responsibilities
As General Accoutant & AP Team Lead, you will:
- Oversee daily Accounts Payable and general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
- Review purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests; check payments prior to approval.
- Coordinate bank transactions and inter-bank transfers to ensure timely payments.
- Perform monthly closing activities and prepare financial and management reports.
- Reconcile AP, AR, and general ledger accounts, including inventory, COGS, and fixed assets.
- Prepare and submit monthly tax declarations (VAT, WHT, CIT) and support tax finalisation, audits, and inspections.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners (banks, auditors, tax authorities).
- Support finance initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a General Accountant or Senior Accountant role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Vietnamese tax regulations.
- Good Excel skills and high attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- A proactive, organised professional who works well as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.
