The school is currently looking to recruit a:

 

PRIMARY ART INTERN

 

Job purpose: To support Art Teacher in delivering the art curriculum to children from F1 to Year 6


General responsibilities:

  • To assist in the planning, preparation and running of art classes for children from F1 to Year 6 (2 years to 11 years of age)
  • To independently teach groups and classes of children under the direction of the art teacher
  • Assist with classroom preparation, maintenance and clean-up
  • Assist the art teacher and class teachers with displays within the art room and in other areas of the school
  • Assist with the organisation of whole school events to promote and celebrate the teaching of art
  • Assist with monitoring the inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.

 

Job requirements: 

  • Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts
  • Excellent command of English
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels of people; good writing skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive mindset

Our 2023 cohort of 107 IBDP graduates achieved an average score of 36.7 points, significantly higher than the global average of 30.2 points with 37.4 % of our students achieving 40 points or more and 3 students achieving a perfect score of 45.  At IGCSE our students are equally successful. Our 2023 cohort of 130 students achieved 70.2% of grades at A*/A with 98.5% of our students achieving A* - C in 5 or more subjects and 25 students achieving A*/A grades across all their subjects.
