Job Posting Date:  10 Feb 2026
Location:

Ho Chi Minh City, VN

Job ID:  8647
School:  Regional Office (South East Asia)
Company:  Nord Anglia Education

About The Role

Target Start date: 1st August 2026

Lead technology at scale. Shape the future of learning.

At Nord Anglia Education, we educate over 100,000 students across a global family of premium international schools. Technology underpins everything we do — from exceptional learning experiences to resilient, well-run schools.

We are seeking an outstanding Regional IT Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across South East Asia and India. This is a senior, high-impact role for a technology leader who sees IT as a strategic enabler — not just a function — and who can lead with confidence, empathy, and clarity across diverse environments.

As Regional IT Director, you will have end-to-end accountability for IT across a complex and growing portfolio of schools. You will operate as a trusted partner to Heads of School, Regional Leadership, and Global Technology teams, translating strategy into measurable outcomes while ensuring day-to-day excellence.

You will set the regional technology direction, strengthen capability across schools, and ensure our digital environments are secure, scalable, and future-ready — all while respecting local context and culture.

Success in this role means:
stronger cyber resilience, more consistent service delivery, empowered school IT teams, and technology that visibly enhances learning and operations across the region.

What You'll Do

Regional Technology Leadership

  • Define and deliver the regional IT strategy, aligned with Nord Anglia’s global vision and growth ambitions
  • Act as a senior advisor on technology, risk, and digital transformation to Regional and School Leadership Teams
  • Lead through influence, balancing innovation with operational stability and value

End-to-End IT Accountability

  • Own all aspects of IT delivery across the region — infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, data, cybersecurity, service management, and digital change
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable services across schools with differing levels of maturity
  • Manage regional IT budgets and strategic vendor partnerships, driving value and performance

Partnership with Schools

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Heads of School, Business Managers, and local IT teams
  • Support schools through change — from system upgrades to new school openings
  • Champion a consistent, high-quality experience while enabling local flexibility where it matters

People, Capability & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional IT community
  • Build succession, capability, and career pathways for IT professionals
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative culture that values diversity, learning, and continuous improvement

Governance, Risk & Security

  • Ensure robust cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance across multiple countries and regulatory environments
  • Embed strong governance, service management, and risk practices across the region

What You'll Bring

You are a credible, senior technology leader who can operate comfortably at boardroom level and in schools on the ground.

You’ll bring:

  • Proven senior IT leadership experience in large, multi-site or regional environments
  • Clear ownership of end-to-end IT, from strategy through to delivery and operations
  • Experience working across diverse cultures, markets, and regulatory landscapes, ideally within Asia and/or India
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budget ownership and vendor management
  • A collaborative, people-first leadership style — you build trust, alignment, and momentum
  • A genuine belief in technology as an enabler of better outcomes for learners and educators

Experience in education is welcome but not essential. What matters most is your ability to lead with purpose, impact, and perspective.

Why Nord Anglia Education?

  • Purpose at scale — your work directly supports students, teachers, and schools across an entire region
  • Global excellence, local impact — influence regional outcomes while partnering with world-class global teams
  • People-first culture — inclusive, values-led, and committed to growth and development
  • True seniority — a seat at the table, real influence, and visible impact

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Nord Anglia Education is proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We believe diverse teams make better decisions and deliver better outcomes for students. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
