Position Summary / Job Goals:
You will support the delivery of our After Class Enrichment (ACE) Program, a structured after-school program that extends learning beyond the school day through a balance of academic support, creative enrichment, and recreational activities for students in Early Childhood through Middle School.
In this role, you will help teach, supervise, and mentor students in a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that reflects the values of The Village School and Nord Anglia Education. The ACE program is designed to support the holistic development of each child, fostering curiosity, independence, collaboration, and social-emotional growth while reinforcing skills introduced during the academic day.
As a genuine team player, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, external vendors, and families to ensure a seamless and high-quality after-school experience.

This is a part-time, 10-month position (August–May) requiring consistent availability Monday through Friday during the academic year and scheduled program days.
Qualifications / Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of policies and procedures required to maintain a safe, structured, and well-managed program environment
Experience / Knowledge:
- One or more years of experience working with children (preferred)
- Knowledge of and fluency in the English language
- Strong proficiency with Office 365 for producing rosters, email communication, and basic curriculum planning
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate supervision practices
- Ability to support lesson planning, activities, and crafts within an enrichment-based program
- Strong cross-cultural, interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with a diverse, international community

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support and work directly with students from Early Childhood through Middle School within the ACE Program
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in alignment with campus Health and Safety standards and safeguarding expectations
- Deliver a fun, interactive, and engaging environment during after-school activities, Spring Break programs, and other one-day camps
- Provide daily support for Lower and Middle School student lunches and assist with miscellaneous division support as needed
- Ensure vendor class success through seamless transitions between activities and support during dismissal and carpool
- Collaborate with ACE team members on lesson plan development, including creating activities and crafts aligned with the program calendar
- Assist with classroom preparation, roster management, and maintaining inventory of program supplies
- Follow established practices, procedures, and program structure to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain physical readiness to actively supervise and engage with students throughout the program
- Demonstrate flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend program needs as required
- Adhere to assigned work schedule, including consistent Monday through Friday availability, to support program continuity
