Position Summary / Job Goals:
The Campus Store Personnel supports the daily operations of the campus store by providing excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff. This role is responsible for assisting with sales transactions, stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the store is organized, clean, and operating efficiently. The position contributes to a positive and professional retail environment aligned with the school’s standards.
Qualifications / Training:
- High School Diploma required
- Ability to perform basic math functions for transactions and cash handling
- Ability to operate registers, scanners, and credit card terminals
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students
- Willingness to complete required child protection training
Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience handling cash and credit transactions
- Understanding of basic inventory control processes
- Ability to handle exchanges and refunds efficiently
- Skilled in using computers and retail systems for sales and billing
- Ability to memorize product locations and assist customers with selections
- Knowledge of maintaining accurate cash drawer balances
- Attention to detail in pricing, stocking, and transaction processing

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service
- Price, stock, and organize merchandise on shelves and displays
- Process sales transactions, including cash and credit card payments
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and balance cash drawer
- Prepare and maintain merchandise displays and assist with stock relocation
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or obsolete items
- Open and/or close the store, including cash counts and system shutdown
- Maintain cleanliness of retail fixtures and overall store appearance
- Follow established procedures, standards, and safety practices
- Support efficient store operations with minimal supervision
- Adjust work schedule as needed, including evenings or weekends
- Perform other duties as assigned
