Head of School, The Village School, Houston
Houston, US
The Village School is a vibrant international day and boarding community in Houston’s energy corridor, where students from around the world come together to learn, grow, and thrive. In recent years, Village has undergone a remarkable transformation, with new programs, a renewed sense of purpose, and a campus that reflects the school’s bold vision for the future. Enrolment is nearing 2,000, and recent expansions have created space for even more students to join this dynamic community. The new science wing stands as a testament to Village’s commitment to STEM education and to providing students with hands-on, inquiry-driven learning experiences.
The Village offers a comprehensive, intentionally sequenced upper-school academic pathway, with Advanced Placement opportunities beginning in grades 9 and 10, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme anchoring grades 11 and 12. This dual structure reflects the school’s commitment to academic rigor and student choice, ensuring graduates are exceptionally well-prepared for selective colleges and global pursuits. The school’s strong academic reputation is reinforced by external recognition, including a current national ranking of 15th on Niche.
