Job Description

  • A Village School teacher should work cooperatively and collectively with school Directors, Instructional Coach, Coordinators, Department Heads and other Teachers to ensure that instructional programs are coordinated and are administered uniformly and equitably in alignment with desired outcome.We're looking for a candidate who genuinely cares about their students, and is passionate about shaping the next generation – not only through classroom instruction, but also through extracurricular activities and involvement. The ideal candidate will be able to connect with students of all ages, and help them to grow academically, personally and socially!

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Use multiple teaching methods to teach students.
  • Communicate with parents and school administrators.
  • Organize and plan lessons.
  • Assess student learning outcomes.
  • Effectively work with students who have unique needs or special requirements.
  • Identify learning barriers and work with students to help them overcome them.
  • Maintain a safe environment for both students and staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified applicants will have demonstrated success teaching a HS Computer Science.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
  • Experience teaching HS Computer Science is desirable, as is IB and/or AP experience.
