Job Title: English Teacher – Primary
Location: Oakridge International School, Bachupally

Job Purpose:
To plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons that foster language proficiency, creativity, and a love for reading and writing among primary students, in alignment with the school’s curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver daily English lessons integrating listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning and curiosity.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and learner needs.
• Use innovative teaching strategies and digital tools to enhance student engagement.
• Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records of achievement.
• Provide feedback to students and parents through reports and meetings.
• Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and co-curricular activities.
• Ensure classroom management, discipline, and adherence to school policies.
• Participate in school events, assemblies, and professional development sessions.
• Support students’ overall development and well-being.

Skills & Competencies:
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Ability to engage young learners creatively and effectively.
• Classroom management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with B.Ed. in English or Elementary Education.
• 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in international or CBSE/IB curriculum schools.
