IBDP ENGLISH TEACHER

Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced IBDP English Teacher to deliver engaging, student-centered instruction aligned with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The teacher will foster critical thinking, creativity, and academic excellence while supporting students’ holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality IBDP English (Language A) instruction

• Plan and deliver lessons based on IB curriculum and assessment standards

• Prepare students for all IB English components, including HL Essay and Individual Oral

• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs

• Provide regular feedback, assess student progress, and maintain academic records

• Support students with Extended Essays and other interdisciplinary IB components

• Participate in collaborative planning, moderation, and school events

• Uphold IB philosophy, values, and academic honesty practices

• Contribute to co-curricular and school development activities

• Engage in continuous professional learning and IB training

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in English, Literature, or related field

• Valid teaching certification (B.Ed., PGCE, etc.)

• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in an IB World School

• IB Category 1 or 2 training (preferred)
