Job Description
Job Title: Officer – Stores
Function: Administration / Operations
Location: Oakridge International School, Bachupally
Job Purpose:
Ensure accurate receipt, storage, issuance and record-keeping of school materials while maintaining inventory control, safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect and record incoming goods; verify against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Store items systematically; label and maintain accessibility.
• Issue materials to departments on approved requests and maintain registers.
• Monitor stock levels; prepare periodic stock and consumption reports.
• Conduct regular physical counts and support internal/external audits.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Accounts for invoice verification and vendor follow-up.
• Maintain store area cleanliness, safety and SOP compliance.
• Support cost-control and asset optimization initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
• Experience with inventory systems/ERP (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
• Strong record-keeping, organization and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 3–5 years’ experience in stores/inventory management (educational/institutional experience preferred).
