Physics Lab Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physics Lab Assistant to support the smooth operation of the physics laboratory. The role involves preparing lab equipment and materials, assisting teachers during experiments, and maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient lab environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up laboratory apparatus, materials, and equipment for physics practical sessions

• Assist teachers and students during experiments to ensure accuracy and safety

• Maintain inventory and stock of lab equipment and consumables

• Ensure all apparatus is cleaned, stored properly, and in working condition

• Monitor and enforce laboratory safety protocols and guidelines

• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of scientific instruments

• Support in documenting practical work, reports, and lab records

• Dispose of materials safely and follow waste management procedures

• Coordinate with the science department for lab planning and improvements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Physics, Science, or a related field

• Prior experience in a school laboratory setting (preferred)

• Basic knowledge of physics lab equipment and safety procedures
