Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Sports Teacher to lead and deliver a wide range of physical and sports activities. The ideal candidate will foster a love for sports, build student fitness, and promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct sports sessions and training across various age groups

• Coach students in team and individual sports such as basketball, football, athletics, etc.

• Identify and nurture sporting talent for interschool and interhouse competitions

• Promote physical well-being, fitness, and healthy lifestyle habits

• Organize and manage school sports events and tournaments

• Ensure safe use of sports equipment and facilities

• Maintain student performance records and provide constructive feedback

• Support co-curricular and house activities related to sports

• Collaborate with PE department and school leadership on sports curriculum planning

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physical Education or related discipline

• Professional training or coaching certifications (preferred)

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in teaching or sports coaching in a school setting
