As English Teacher, your focus will be to:

  • Lead initiatives to boost student participation and school spirit.
  • Support enrichment activities and school events.
  • Strengthen parental engagement through clear communication and progress updates.
  • Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and effective lessons.
  • Foster creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.
  • Use data-driven strategies to support diverse learning needs.
  • Integrate digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
  • Serve as a Form Tutor and contribute to the IGCSE curriculum.
  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans.
  • Ensure rigorous assessment and timely feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum innovation and quality assurance.
  • Engage in continuous professional learning.
  • Reflect on practice to improve teaching effectiveness.
  • Uphold school values and contribute to a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries lived in.
  • Compliance with visa requirements for working.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, and a willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.

SELECTION PROCESS: The closing date for this position is Thursday, 15th January 2026.

 

There will be two stages of interviews.

 

First-stage interviews will be conducted via online video calls. We will then be live in the UK for the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event, conducting final and confirmation interviews in London and Manchester on 25-29 January 2026. Candidates who are unable to attend in person will be offered alternative arrangements.

 

Due to the high number of applications expected, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
