We’re looking to recruit a Primary Teacher to join our Manila school, a Nord Anglia Education school.
JOB PURPOSE
You’ll help us deliver outstanding lessons in Primary School.
You’ll also play a key role in ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet the students’ varying learning, personal and social needs.
As a genuine team-player, you’ll work not only with the rest of the Nord Anglia Manila primary team, but across also with our regional and central teams to ensure that the highest quality primary lessons are taught and to ensure that everything we do is connected to our vision to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens who will change our world for the better.

- ENGAGEMENT AND INTERACTION – SCHOOL AMBASSADOR TO INTERNAL COMMUNITY
- Inspire trust and confidence in students, colleagues, and parents
- Use school assessment and self-evaluation processes to advance student learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school's aspirations and priorities
- Contribute to school improvement planning and promote the learning priorities of the school improvement plan
- Promote the wider aspirations and values of the school
- LEARNING AND TEACHING
- Ensure the effective teaching and management of classes, groups and individuals so that teaching objectives are met, momentum and challenge are maintained and the best use is made of teaching time
- Set high expectations for pupils’ behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of behaviour management through well focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships in accordance with the rules and behaviour policy of the school
- PLANNING AND PREPARATION
- Identify clear teaching objectives, content, structures, and sequences of lessons appropriate to the educational needs of the pupils in his/her class
- PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
- Understand the need to take responsibility for their own professional development and to keep up to date with research and developments in pedagogy as relevant to their own department and mainstream departments.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
- UK qualification with QTS status or Equivalent
- Experience of teaching the relevant aspects of the English National Curriculum for this key stage
- High level of ICT competency
- Able to engage and inspire students of varying ability levels
- Proven track record with at least two years teaching experience
- Experience of working in international school setting is desirable
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations.
- Good cross-cultural, interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Excellent analytical skills – with the passion and drive to demonstrate and quantify success.
- Results orientated with the ability to consistently map efforts against identified KPIs.
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks.
- You’d like to work in a purpose-led sector.
SELECTION PROCESS: There will be three stages of interview, including a panel interview. First stage interviews will be conducted via online video calls and final interviews will take place at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London in the week commencing 22nd January 2025 (alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who cannot attend in person).
