Job Purpose

Promote the health, safety, and well-being of the school community by providing medical care, responding to emergencies, and supporting health, prevention, and child protection programs while ensuring compliance with institutional and official regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary medical care to students, staff, and faculty.
  • Manage medical emergencies, urgent care situations, and health insurance procedures.
  • Oversee school health, safety, hygiene, and civil protection programs.
  • Organize health campaigns, workshops, and first aid training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and coordinate specialized referrals when needed.
  • Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with medical protocols and school policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Medical Degree (Licensed Physician) with valid professional license and registration.
  • Training in Child Protection and Continuing Medical Education (preferred).

Experience

  • Previous experience in school, educational, or institutional healthcare settings.
  • Experience in emergency and urgent care management.
  • Experience managing medical insurance claims and procedures.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics and/or Family Medicine.
  • Expertise in first aid, emergency response, and school safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of health regulations, hygiene standards, and hazardous waste management.
  • Strong organizational skills, discretion, integrity, and ability to manage crises effectively.
