Shape the growth, reputation and family experience of our school
As Director of Admissions & Marketing, you’ll be a key member of the School Senior Leadership Team, with prime responsibility for driving student enrolment and building an exceptional experience for families throughout their journey with us — from first discovering the school, through consideration and enrolment, to becoming advocates for our community.
You’ll bring together Marketing, Admissions and Communications (MAC) to create a commercially focused, data-driven and highly engaging approach that differentiates our school in the market and helps more families discover what makes us unique.
Reporting to the Head of School, with a dotted-line relationship to the Regional Director of Admissions & Marketing, you’ll work at both school and regional level, partnering with colleagues across the organization to turn strategy into measurable results.
What you'll lead
📈 Drive Enrolment & Commercial Performance
- Develop and lead the school's strategic Marketing, Admissions and Communications (MAC) plan, aligned with enrolment and business objectives.
- Own the MAC budget and ensure investment delivers maximum value and measurable impact.
- Lead the enrolment pipeline, focusing on generating enquiries, converting them into enrolments and maximizing re-enrolment and family retention.
- Maintain accurate enrolment forecasting and use market, competitor and audience insights to identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop a differentiated market positioning that strengthens the school's competitive advantage and supports enrolment.
📊 Turn Data & Insight into Action
- Use marketing, customer and enrolment data to evaluate performance and make informed commercial decisions.
- Use Salesforce and other KPI metrics to manage the enrolment pipeline, track team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Test, learn and adapt marketing and admissions activities based on measurable results.
- Advise the Senior Leadership Team on relevant market research, including brand equity, parent satisfaction, mystery shopping and market share.
- Translate data and research insights into clear action plans that improve school performance.
❤️ Lead an Exceptional Family Experience
- Lead the development and execution of best practice across the entire Family Experience Journey, from awareness and consideration through to enrolment and advocacy.
- Partner with colleagues across the school to ensure every family receives a highly personalized and engaging experience.
- Ensure prospective families receive an exceptional school visit experience, both in person and virtually.
- Work with regional and central digital teams to deliver a seamless digital experience for families.
- Build a culture where the whole school understands its role in delivering an outstanding family experience.
✨ Build the School's Brand & Reputation
- Define and strengthen a distinctive school brand that resonates with target audiences and clearly communicates the school's unique strengths.
- Lead the implementation of the school's brand framework, visual identity and tone of voice across all channels.
- Bring the school's story and educational offering to life through compelling communications and experiences.
- Build external networks with feeder schools, embassies, agents and other community partners to increase awareness and generate new enrolment opportunities.
- Lead stakeholder communications and support the Principal and SLT with crisis and issues communications when required.
👥 Lead, Develop & Innovate
- Recruit, lead, coach and develop a high-performing MAC team, building commercial, creative and customer-focused capabilities.
- Set clear expectations and KPIs, supporting team members to achieve and exceed their objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, entrepreneurial and innovative culture across the MAC team and wider school.
- Lead complex projects through to successful implementation, balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
- Share best practice and insights across the school, regional and wider Nord Anglia MAC community while continuously developing your own expertise
What we're looking for
We're looking for a commercially minded, data-driven and people-focused leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution.
You may come from education, premium services, hospitality, healthcare, financial services, retail, technology, or another customer-focused environment. What matters most is your ability to translate customer insight into action, build strong relationships and deliver measurable growth.
You will bring:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in brand-building, sales, marketing, admissions, customer growth or a related commercial/customer-focused environment.
- A proven track record of leading, coaching and developing teams, with the ability to build capability and inspire high performance.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate resources, manage competing priorities and deliver complex initiatives to deadline.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior leaders and internal and external stakeholders.
- A commercial, entrepreneurial and adaptable mindset, with the resilience to challenge constructively, embrace change, identify opportunities and continuously look for better ways of working.
- A strong customer and audience focus, with the ability to understand different needs and translate them into compelling experiences and propositions.
- A genuine commitment to collaboration, continuous learning and knowledge sharing, with the humility to listen, learn and develop others.
