Job Description

 

As Marketing & Communications Manager, you’ll be part of the Regional Admissions & Marketing team for The Americas. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining and driving the marketing strategy and execution plans for our schools in the region for continued attraction, enrollment, and retention of students as well as to build the reputation of Nord Anglia Education across the region. Responsible for contributing to the growth strategy of The Americas region by driving marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, consideration, and improve brand equity (ultimately driving enrollment and retention), you’re passionate about the significant impact that brand marketing can make upon a business’ performance. You’ll also support with school and regional communications, ensuring alignment with our tone of voice. 

 

Working together with the Regional Director of Admissions and Marketing and the Regional Admissions & Marketing team, you’ll support our marketing and communications team members in the region. Understanding each school’s markets, culture and needs, backed by data insights, and showing impact is critical in this role to develop the right brand messages and campaigns across the Family Experience Journey (FEJ), bringing to life the unique identity of the school and driving commercial performance. 

 

You’ll provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to our school marketing and communications team members as well as the Regional Marketing Coordinator.

Required Skills/Abilities

 

  • Bilingual expertise in English and Spanish is required
  • You have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field 
  • You have 5+ years of brand marketing experience and are a skilled brand ambassador 
  • Experience of having managed a team 
  • You have experience working in a matrixed organization, knowing how to drive a brand agenda and make great things happen 
  • You have strong analytical skills and evaluation of ROI, KPIs, and proven record of using data and research to inform decision-making  
  • You have experience working with CRM systems 
  • You know how to run effective campaigns and how to mobilize efforts to launch successful initiatives  
  • You have superb project management skills, so you never miss a deadline 
  • You have experience working within a service delivery sector, education sector experience a bonus 
  • You have experience in monitoring competitor market activity 
  • You are passionate about creative and design, and a very good eye for detail 
  • You have excellent cross-cultural, interpersonal & communication skills to interact with diverse nationalities and cultures  
  • You have strong leadership skills and are able to influence behavior change 
  • You have excellent time management skills and flexibility in dealing with multi-functional tasks  
  • You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills (and copywriting skills) in English and Spanish  
  • You are able to travel to our schools across The Americas to support our Admissions & Marketing teams
