San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, one of the most important cities in Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto. Both campuses were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in December 2002, and currently hold the accreditation by SACS, now as a division of AdvancED. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private IB day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English. The San Agustin campus school is located at west of San Pedro Garza García and Valle Alto campus school is located at south of Monterrey.
Job Description
COUNSELOR
We are currently seeking a Counselor for school year 2025 - 2026 to providing a supportive and healthy learning environment for all our students.
Levels: Preschool | Elementary | Middle School
Location: San Pedro Garza Garcia: Real San Agustin | Monterrey: Valle Alto
Responsibilities:

Provide psychological care for students.

Conduct psychological assessments of students.

Offer psychological counseling and support to students.

Collaborate with teachers and parents to address emotional and academic concerns.

Implement prevention and mental health promotion programs.

Conduct individual and group interventions.

Follow up on reports.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology (preferably with experience in schools).

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of techniques and tools for managing emotional, behavioral, and academic issues in students.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Dedication to the holistic well-being of students.

Advanced English proficiency.
