San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, one of the most important cities in Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto. Both campuses were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in December 2002, and currently hold the accreditation by SACS, now as a division of AdvancED. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English. The San Agustin campus school is located at west of San Pedro Garza García and Valle Alto campus school is located at south of Monterrey.

Position Summary
The Daycare Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and organization of the preschool extended care program, ensuring a safe, structured, and well-supervised environment for students. This role includes supervision of nannies, coordination of student groups, communication with parents, and collaboration with school departments to ensure the smooth functioning of daycare services.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operation & Supervision
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the daycare / extended care program.
- Supervise and provide follow-up to nannies to ensure proper routines, safety procedures, and supervision.
- Organize student groups according to enrollment, age, and staffing needs.
- Monitor daily schedules and ensure smooth transitions during arrival, activities, and dismissal.
- Review and coordinate the daycare menu with the food service / nutrition department.
- Supervise the planning and execution of daily activities, ensuring they are carried out by the nannies according to the established routines and guidelines.
- Ensure activities are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and aligned with the needs of preschool students.
Parent Communication & Student Follow-Up
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding daycare services, student needs, and daily situations.
- Follow up on student cases, behavior concerns, or special situations in coordination with teachers and administration.
- Support conflict resolution and provide timely responses to parent concerns.
Enrollment & Records
- Manage daycare registrations, withdrawals, and updates.
- Keep accurate records of student enrollment and attendance.
- Coordinate group placement based on age, schedule, and availability.
Staff Support & Training
- Provide orientation and training for nannies.
- Ensure staff follow school policies, safety protocols, and daily procedures.
- Support organization of staff schedules and coverage when needed.
- Provide guidance to nannies on activity planning, student management, and routines.
Events & ProD Days Coordination
- Organize daycare groups during ProD days and special school events.
- Coordinate student lists and food counts for daycare services.
- Ensure proper supervision during teacher training days.
Coordination with School Departments
- Maintain communication with Aquatics, Fine Arts, Sports, and other departments.
- Coordinate student participation in after-school activities.
- Support organization of student dismissal and pick-up logistics.
Safety & Protocol Compliance
- Ensure all daycare procedures follow school safety guidelines.
- Inform administration of any situation requiring follow-up.
