San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, one of the most important cities in Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto. Both campuses were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in December 2002, and currently hold the accreditation by SACS, now as a division of AdvancED. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private IB day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English. The San Agustin campus school is located at west of San Pedro Garza García and Valle Alto campus school is located at south of Monterrey. 

Job Description

Spanish Teacher

 

Job Purpose

To teach the subjects of Spanish and Social Sciences, integrating them making effective the teaching-learning process of knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Support the students during the execution of the activities of the class and carry out the corresponding evaluation for each of the students.
Participate and collaborate in the special internal and external activities of the program.

 

Specifications

  • Skills: Creativity, willingness, cooperation, collaboration, teamwork, positive attitude and service, vocation, patience, openness to change, with initiation.

  • Knowledge: Knowledge of different topics of the subject

  • Experience: Two years of experience in front of a group

  • Education: Bachelor´s Degree with credits in the teaching area

 

Responsabilities

  • Prepare in a timely manner the planning of activities to be developed within your classroom.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils. And the willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.

  • Comply with the training plan of the area, some sessions may be held on the other campus and when required, outside of school days and hours.

  • Collaborate in the realization of special events.

  • Attend meetings that are scheduled during the school year.

  • Maintain a spirit of self-improvement and preparation in the area in which it operates.

  • Perform their teaching work with dedication and responsibility, so that students achieve maximum use.

  • Supervise and report the maintenance of physical resources, so that they are in optimal conditions for the development of their work.

  • Request the material and equipment necessary for the development of their activities and / or request a repair of what already exists, if necessary.
