San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, one of the most important cities in Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto. Both campuses were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in December 2002, and currently hold the accreditation by SACS, now as a division of AdvancED. It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private IB day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English. The San Agustin campus school is located at west of San Pedro Garza García and Valle Alto campus school is located at south of Monterrey. 

Job Description

Technology Integrator

Introduce students and teachers to the knowledge and management of different computer applications and the use of technological resources to develop critical thinking, teamwork, and knowledge to face current and future challenges.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in the use of computers and mobile devices.
  • Basic technical knowledge
  • Domain of varied applications.
  • Mastery of Internet browsers and different educational programs.
  • Oral and written expression in English and Spanish. Minimum TOEFL 550
  • Notions of the teaching-learning processes of primary and secondary students. Group control.
  • Teamwork: Advanced communication skills to work with different teams.
  • Creativity and organization.
  • Persuasive skills and enthusiasm to be able to work with different teams and introduce new technologies.

Requirements

  • Knowledge: Computational theory. Operating systems. Word processor applications, spreadsheets and presentations in the different versions that exist. Design and development of Web and multimedia pages. Internet proficiency and varied educational software
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a computer teacher or technology integrator.
  • Education: Bachelor of Education with studies in computing or Bachelor of Systems with studies in education. Systems engineering. Related career
  • Technology Innovations: Self motivated to continuous learning and adapting new technologies innovations.
  • Apple Teacher Certification - Desirable
