Job Purpose

To support the school's enrollment, retention, and brand objectives through the delivery of high-quality marketing, admissions, and communications activities. The MAC Assistant creates engaging content, builds strong relationships with prospective and current families, and ensures a positive and consistent experience across all school communications and touchpoints.

The Marketing, Admissions and Communications (MAC) Assistant supports the school's enrollment, retention, and brand objectives by delivering high-quality marketing, admissions, and communications initiatives. The successful candidate will create engaging content, foster strong relationships with prospective and current families, and help provide a positive, consistent experience across all school communications. They will ensure that every interaction reflects the school's tone of voice and effectively communicates Nord Anglia’s values and educational philosophy.

 

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the school, the MAC Assistant contributes to strengthening the school's reputation, deepening family engagement, and supporting sustainable enrollment growth.

 

 

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Marketing & Communications

  • Create and publish engaging content across social media, website, email, print, and other communication channels.
  • Capture and curate photography, video, and stories that showcase student learning, school culture, and authentic community life.
  • Design marketing materials and digital assets that align with the school and organization’s brand standards and visual identity.
  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of school events, open houses, and community engagement activities.
  • Develop and distribute newsletters, announcements, and other communications for current and prospective families.
  • Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance and engagement metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Ensure all communications are timely, accurate, and reflect the school's mission, values, and educational offering.

 

Admissions & Enrollment

  • Serve as a point of contact for prospective families, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and in-person interactions.
  • Guide families through the admissions process by providing information on programs, admissions requirements, and the school's educational offerings.
  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating and leading school tours and admissions events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families through personalized communication and timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate with parents, teachers, and school leaders to collect application materials.
  • Assist with the application process to ensure a seamless experience for families.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in admissions and CRM systems, ensuring data integrity and timely documentation.
  • Ensure admissions processes comply with school policies, Nord Anglia Education requirements, and applicable local regulations.
  • Support re-enrollment activities, including contract distribution, and administrative processing.
  • Work closely with faculty and staff to ensure enrollment information is shared appropriately before students begin school.
  • Support the planning and delivery of orientation programs, welcome events, and transition activities for new families.

 

Community Engagement & Administrative Support

  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and family-focused experience for all visitors and members of the school community.
  • Support school-wide initiatives that enhance parent engagement and strengthen community connections.
  • Provide administrative and operational support across the school, assisting with projects, events, publications, and program-related activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies, procedures, safeguarding expectations, and data privacy requirements.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Marketing or School Leadership.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND Qualifications

 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in marketing, communications, admissions, customer service, or related roles.
  • Experience working in an independent school, educational environment, or customer-facing organization preferred.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships and provide a welcoming experience for prospective and current families.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.
  • Experience creating content for social media, digital marketing, and community communications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace as well as with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Familiarity with CRM, admissions, student information, or database management systems; experience with Salesforce is desirable.
  • Strong data management skills with the ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Photography, videography, and visual storytelling skills are strongly preferred.
