Job Purpose:

Responsible for guiding young learners in developing strong English language skills through engaging, age‑appropriate instruction. The role focuses on fostering literacy, communication, and critical‑thinking abilities while creating a supportive and positive classroom environment. The teacher contributes to students’ academic and personal growth by implementing effective teaching strategies, encouraging curiosity, and supporting the school’s commitment to high‑quality bilingual education.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
  • Create a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment.
  • Plan age‑appropriate learning activities aligned with the school’s curriculum.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and classroom activities.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school programs, events, and academic goals.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field; teaching certification preferred. Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1 level according to CEFR), accredited through valid international certifications (CPE, IELTS Academic, TOEFL IBT, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 2+ years teaching at the primary level; experience in bilingual or multicultural environments is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management, effective communication, ability to create engaging lessons, digital literacy, and solid organizational skills.
  • Knowledge: Best practices in language acquisition, adolescent learning needs, assessment methods, and intercultural competence.
