Job Purpose:
Promote the overall well-being of the school community by supporting students in their social, emotional, and psychological development. The School Psychologist collaborates with administrators, teachers, families, and external mental health professionals to create safe, healthy, and emotionally positive learning environments that enable students to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Support students’ emotional development and integration.
- Design and implement prevention programs (bullying, well-being, school climate).
- Conduct psychological assessments, reports, and follow-ups.
- Provide strategies and guidance to teachers and parents.
- Manage crisis situations and refer complex cases to external specialists.
- Maintain updated records and ensure confidentiality.
- Lead workshops and initiatives for the school community.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (required).
- Minimum 3 years in educational, clinical, or child psychology.
- Experience in teaching or training (desirable).
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork.
- Psychometric testing, diagnosis, and intervention planning.
- Problem-solving, organization, and crisis management.
