TAREAS CLAVES Y RESPONSABILIDADES

• Tener experiencia enseñando Inglés A: Lengua y Literatura en el Programa del Diploma IB (HL/SL).
• Demostrar sólidos conocimientos tanto de lengua como de literatura, con pasión por ayudar a los estudiantes a explorar cómo se  construye el significado en diferentes contextos.
• Fomentar el pensamiento crítico, la creatividad y la integridad académica en línea con la filosofía del IB.
• Poseer un título relevante en Inglés, Literatura o un campo relacionado, además de las certificaciones  docentes correspondientes.
• Planificar y desarrollar clases de inglés alineadas con el currículo institucional.
• Evaluar el progreso de los estudiantes mediante instrumentos formativos y sumativos.
• Fomentar el uso del idioma inglés en contextos reales y significativos.
• Participar en reuniones pedagógicas, capacitaciones y actividades institucionales.
• Mantener una comunicación efectiva con estudiantes, padres y equipo docente.
• Elaborar informes académicos y registros de evaluación.
• Promover valores como el respeto, la inclusión y la responsabilidad en el aula. Planificar 

CALIFICACIONES/EDUCACION

• Educación a nivel universitario y habilitación profesional
• Doninio fluido del inglés

EXPERIENCIA/CONOCIMIENTO

• Compromiso con la mejora continua y la innovación educativa
• Titulo universitario en Enseñanza del Inglés, Traducción, Filología Inglesa o afines.
• Certificaciones internacionales (ej. CELTA, TESOL, TOEFL, IELTS) deseables.
• Experiencia previa en docencia (mínimo 2 años, según nivel).
• Dominio avanzado del idioma inglés (C1 o superior).
• Habilidades pedagógicas, comunicativas y tecnológicas.
• Experiencia docente del Programa del Diploma del IB

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Have experience teaching English A: Language and Literature in the IB Diploma Programme (HL/SL).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of both language and literature, with a passion for helping students explore how meaning is constructed in different contexts.
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, and academic integrity in line with the IB philosophy.
• Hold a relevant degree in English, Literature, or a related field, as well as the corresponding teaching certifications.
• Plan and develop English lessons aligned with the institutional curriculum.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessment tools.
• Encourage the use of the English language in real and meaningful contexts.
• Participate in pedagogical meetings, training sessions, and institutional activities.
• Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and the teaching team.
• Prepare academic reports and assessment records.
• Promote values such as respect, inclusion, and responsibility in the classroom.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION

• University-level education and professional teaching certification.
• Fluent command of the English language.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

• Commitment to continuous improvement and educational innovation.
• University degree in English Teaching, Translation, English Philology, or related fields.
• International certifications (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, TOEFL, IELTS) are desirable.
• Previous teaching experience (minimum of 2 years, depending on level).
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1 or higher).
• Pedagogical, communicative, and technological skills.
• Teaching experience in the IB Diploma Programme.
