We are seeking a passionate and talented Music Teacher to join our team on a 40% part-time basis (2–3 days per week, with some flexibility for the right candidate). The successful candidate will teach primarily across our Primary classes (ages 3 to 11), inspiring a love of music in young learners while contributing to the wider musical life of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality music lessons across Primary (ages 3–11)
  • Inspire students to develop their musical skills, creativity, and confidence
  • Support and organise performances, concerts, and school events
  • Coordinate sound and lighting equipment for events (desirable)
  • Contribute to extracurricular music opportunities
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching music in a primary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for music education
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with sound and lighting equipment (advantageous)
