Job Description

This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Communications in crafting and executing effective communication strategies at Avenues São Paulo. This position is integral to maintaining the dynamic and fast-paced nature of campus life by ensuring clear and streamlined communication channels for faculty, staff, and parents. The ideal candidate will contribute to fostering a strong sense of community and embody Avenues' unique style and approach to communication.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bring proven abilities to contribute in key areas:

Internal Communication: Support the development and execution of internal communication strategies directed towards our staff, faculty, and students' families.
Content Creation: Draft, edit, translate, and publish messages across various platforms while maintaining consistency with Avenues' communication standards.
Project Management: Collaborate closely with the Director of Communications to execute communication calendars and oversee project management tasks.
Quality Assurance: Cross-reference and proofread information across internal channels to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Team Collaboration: Act as an ambassador for the communications team, empowering faculty and staff to embody Avenues' style and approach to communication.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate strategically with internal stakeholders to enhance campus operations and provide a well-informed community experience.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze communication metrics to create insightful reports.
Marketing Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the marketing team on specific projects to ensure alignment of messaging and goals.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

Successful candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Excellent proficiency in both Portuguese and English is a must.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and quickly take ownership of the role.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, or related fields.
Previous experience in internal communication roles.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy with experience in various publishing and data platforms, such as content-management systems and databases.
Experience with design and content creation is a plus.
