We also offer courses that focus on English, mathematics, life skills and employability through ASDAN programmes.

 

All students are involved in a wide range of co-curricular activities, mainly run by teaching staff. Resulting in a rich and varied co-curricular offer for our students, with our school active and competitive in the local international school sports league across a number of sports. The school has an extensive programme of residential trips starting in Year 3 up to the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in Secondary.

 

We are also members of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) and are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Dover Court International School, part of the Nord Anglia Education global family, is seeking a skilled and detail-driven Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Specialist to play a key role in delivering fair, competitive and compliant total rewards practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a subject-matter expert who enjoys working hands-on across compensation, payroll and benefits, while partnering closely with HR and finance stakeholders to enhance employee experience in a diverse international school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Total Rewards

  • Support the delivery and ongoing refinement of compensation frameworks aligned with market benchmarks, internal equity and budget guidelines.
  • Support annual salary review, merit and adjustment cycles, ensuring fairness, accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and analysis to inform reward decisions.
  • Respond to reward-related queries from HR partners, managers and employees.

Payroll & Benefits Operations

  • Support accurate and timely monthly payroll processing in line with contractual terms and Singapore employment legislation.
  • Administer employee benefits programmes, including medical insurance, with a strong focus on service quality and accessibility.
  • Act as a knowledgeable and approachable point of contact for staff queries relating to pay, benefits and statutory deductions.
  • Ensure accurate processing of final salary settlements and offboarding payments.

Compliance, Governance & Risk

  • Ensure compensation, payroll and benefits practices comply with Singapore employment law and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits and internal controls.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory, legislative and market developments impacting compensation and benefits.

Data, Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare regular compensation, payroll and benefits reports.
  • Manage and maintain accuracy of HR systems
  • Support people analytics and workforce reporting with accurate and timely data.
  • Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve reward processes and outcomes.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with HR colleagues, finance teams and school leaders to support people initiatives.
  • Contribute to regional compensation and benefits initiatives across the SEAME region.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and enhance employee experience.

About You

Experience & Expertise

  • Proven experience in compensation, benefits and/or payroll roles.
  • Solid understanding of Singapore employment legislation, payroll practices and statutory contributions.
  • Experience working in international, matrixed or multicultural environments.
  • Background in education, not-for-profit or purpose-led organisations is welcome but not essential.
  • Professional HR, payroll or reward qualification (e.g. CIPD, CPP or equivalent) is an advantage.
