Job Description
The Senior Admissions Manager in relation to and on behalf of the Director of Admissions, provides strategic leadership for the admissions function, driving enrolment growth while safeguarding the quality, integrity and values of the school. This role oversees the full admissions lifecycle, leads relational excellence with families, and acts as a key partner to academic leadership, marketing and operations in shaping the school’s positioning and sustainable development.
Job Responsabilities
Admissions Strategy & Leadership

Define and lead the school’s admissions strategy in line with overall growth objectives and market positioning.

Oversee the end-to-end admissions process, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for all prospective families.

Set priorities, timelines and performance indicators for admissions activities, monitoring outcomes and impact.
Family Engagement & Relationship Leadership

Act as a senior ambassador of the school, building trusted, long-term relationships with prospective and current families.

Lead high-level admissions meetings, interviews and consultations with a personalised, consultative approach.

Ensure that every interaction reflects the school’s values of care, transparency and partnership.
Process Excellence

Continuously review and improve admissions workflows, tools and touchpoints to enhance efficiency and experience.

Ensure consistency of messaging and approach across all admissions communications.
Data, Forecasting & Reporting

Own admissions data governance, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and effective use of CRM systems.

Analyse application, conversion and enrolment trends to inform forecasting and strategic decision-making.

Prepare regular reports and insights for school leadership, contributing to planning and resource allocation.
Compliance & Quality Assurance

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, safeguarding standards and data protection regulations.

Oversee documentation, records management and ethical standards across all admissions activities.
Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Marketing to align admissions strategy with brand positioning, campaigns and outreach initiatives.

Collaborate with Academic and Administrative teams to support student placement, onboarding and retention.

Represent admissions in leadership discussions, open days, events and external partnerships.
Required Skills/Abilities
Essential
-
Minimum 5+ years of experience in admissions, enrolment management, international education or comparable leadership roles.

Proven experience working with international and multicultural communities.

Excellent command of written and spoken English; Italian and additional languages are a strong asset.

Strong proficiency with CRM systems, digital tools and data-driven reporting.
Preferred
-
Experience in international schools and familiarity with IB or comparable international curricula.

Demonstrated experience in admissions leadership, forecasting and strategic planning.

Background in education marketing, communications or customer experience management.

Experience with regard to the legal value of different accreditations, visa procedures and requests for recognition of the legal value of qualifications issued
