OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Beau Soleil, we believe it’s what you do that counts. This philosophy holds true in all that we do as staff and for our students. We are a community that believes in the power of action, engagement and participation, inside and outside of the classroom.

Our unique holistic education is built around four core values: Respect, Responsibility, Ambition and Determination, which provide a framework to community life for our international student body. Our students come from over fifty different countries, with diverse academic backgrounds and a wide range of future aspirations.

With curricular programmes in both English and French, students graduate with an IB or Advanced Studies Diploma. Within this framework, small class sizes allow for a flexible programme and staff are encouraged and supported to bring new ideas to all that they do.

OUR COMMUNITY

Our location in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon, offers an enviable lifestyle with access to skiing in the winter months and a multitude of outdoor and sporting activities throughout the year. Montreux, Lausanne and Geneva are all within easy reach for cultural adventures and inspiration.

The Beau Soleil campus is an inspiring place to work with facilities that are second to none. Our ongoing campus development and maintenence programme ensures that our students and staff thrive in an environment of which they can be rightly proud.

YOUR PROFILE

Boarding at Beau Soleil isn’t just where students sleep — it’s where they grow, connect, and come into their own. As a full-time Housemaster or Housemistress, you’ll shape this experience, leading a boarding house that feels like home and creating a warm, purposeful community grounded in trust, respect, and a strong sense of belonging.

This is a role that blends leadership with care, structure with spontaneity, and everyday routines with life-defining moments. From morning check-ins to evening reflections, weekend outings to cherished house traditions, you’ll set the tone and rhythm of daily life. Working alongside a close-knit in-house team, and in regular contact with parents, tutors and academic staff, you’ll support each student’s wellbeing and development — helping them navigate challenges, grow in confidence, and flourish as individuals.

Whether welcoming new students, encouraging pupil leadership, or managing the practicalities of boarding life, your influence will help create an environment where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to make the most of every opportunity.

As a residential member of staff, you’ll also contribute to the wider life of the school — teaching up to six lessons per week and getting involved in our rich co-curricular programme, from cultural visits and creative projects to outdoor expeditions.

At Beau Soleil, boarding sits at the heart of the school. It’s where lifelong friendships are made, values are lived, and learning goes far beyond the classroom. As Housemaster or Housemistress, you’ll ensure that experience is not only memorable — but genuinely life-shaping.
