Job Description

Responsible to be a friend, teacher and role model to young minds in their formative years.

Responsible and accountable to be familiar and adapt to “holistic learning methodology” followed at Oakridge.

Responsible to be familiar with the Lesson Plans recommended.

Responsible to own the timetable of academics and activities of the section.

Responsible and accountable to record attendance of the class.

Responsible to conduct the lesson plans around English literacy, numeracy and UOI (with stories and rhymes) for the assigned section as per the plan schedule.

Responsible special requirements of the young children when in class.

Responsible to create assessments by employing various methods to suit individual children (Multiple Intelligence methods) for assessing them both at the formative stage and Summative at the end of terms.

Responsible to adopt appropriate classroom management technique

Responsible to plan and conduct field trips of the class.

Responsible and accountable to collate “Touch Stone Report” for each child in the class.

Responsible to facilitate every child of the class to overcome inhibitions and become confident by being on stage or assuming simple responsibilities.

Responsible for discipline and safety of the children when in the school campus.

Responsible to contribute to the success of various programs run for development of personality of students and various school events. Participates whole heartedly in bringing the best out of children during the events.

Responsible for delight of class Parent by proactive and empathetic interaction.
