About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Librarian to lead and develop a vibrant, student-centred library service. You will manage library operations, oversee resources (print and digital), teach Information Literacy skills, promote reading initiatives, and support both staff and students. The role includes budget management, staff supervision, and fostering a welcoming learning environment that supports the curriculum and encourages a strong reading culture.
About you
You are a qualified and organised library professional with a strong understanding of the British curriculum and a passion for promoting literacy across all key stages. Experienced in managing library systems and supporting research and information literacy skills, you work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance curriculum delivery. Confident in supervising staff and engaging pupils of all ages, you are committed to fostering a structured, inclusive, and academically enriching library environment that promotes a lifelong love of reading.
