Short Description
Lab Assistant – Biology (MYP/DP)
OAKRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up Biology lab materials and equipment for MYP/DP practical’s.
- Assist teachers and students during laboratory sessions.
- Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Manage inventory, stock, and laboratory records.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of biological materials.
- Support the smooth functioning of the Biology laboratory.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Life Sciences or related field.
- 2+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and equipment.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with IB MYP/DP curriculum is preferred.
