Short Description

Lab Assistant – Biology (MYP/DP)

OAKRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up Biology lab materials and equipment for MYP/DP practical’s.
  • Assist teachers and students during laboratory sessions.
  • Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Manage inventory, stock, and laboratory records.
  • Ensure proper storage and disposal of biological materials.
  • Support the smooth functioning of the Biology laboratory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Life Sciences or related field.
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and equipment.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with IB MYP/DP curriculum is preferred.
